My Favourite Energy Boosts

RECIPES -  HEIDI’S FAVOURITE TREATS!

*each recipe makes approximately 12 balls*

 

APRICOT AND COCONUT SLICE

250g dried apricots – place in bowl filled with water to soak for at least 1 hour

Then place into food processor with:

1 cup of shredded coconut

1 cup of almond flour

3 tbsp coconut oil

Press into a cake tray until mix comes together, then place in fridge for at least 3 hours.  Cut into slices and keep in fridge.

 

CHIA AND CACAO BALLS

1 cup walnuts

½ cup of oats

1 cup dates

2 tbsp cacao

Pinch cinnamon

Blend all ingredients together and then roll into balls.

Place some chia seeds in a bowl.  Rolls the balls in the chia seeds to outside is covered.

Keep in fridge.

 

SESAME AND NUT BALLS –I call them my bounty balls!

Process in food processor:

1/3 cup honey

1/3 cup tahini

1 cup cashews

1 cup coconut

Then stir 1/3 cup of sesame seeds

Roll tablespoons of mixture into ball and put in fridge until ready to eat.
